THE LAW OF STRAIGHTNESS.
Everything in the worl must be STRAIGHT or else the world will EXPLODE.
Those who do not believe in the Law of Straightness will NOT be saved!
Okay now that we've got that straight, let us move on.
The appreciation of poetry!
My personal favorite.
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But dammit how happy we'll be.
It's practically music, this.
Hmm. I like limericks too.
An epicure dining in Crewe
Found a rather large mouse in his stew
Cried the waiter: "Don't shout,
Or wave it about
Or the rest will be wanting one too."

(Roald Dahl, 'Matilda')
It's usually funny.
'Tis a favorite project of mine
A new value of pi to assign
I would fix it at 3
for it's simpler you see
Than 3 point 1 4 1 5 9.

There was a young lady named Kite
Whose speed was much faster than light
She left home one day
In a relative way
And returned on the previous night.

Man i love the rhythm. It's really difficult to fit words into this template and make it make sense.
Not to mention make it funny.
As C. Alan Reber said,
The limerick is furtive and mean
You must keep her in close quarantine
Or she sneaks to the slums
And promptly becomes
Disorderly, drunk and obscene.
Most people's are.
Last one!
He's lucky that she isn't telling
Despite all her Dad's angry yelling.
That mark on her neck,
was more than a peck
An could cause abdominal swelling.
Hehheh.
